ME Live! is the signature program on ME Television.

We feature live music performances by Texas and touring artists every night at 7 and 11pm. So far we have created more than 120 hours of original music programming you can't see anywhere else.

From Austin favorites like Bob Schneider, Joe Ely and Del Castillo, to visiting artists like Collective Soul and Los Lobos, ME Live! proves that "Live Music Capital of the World" is more than just a marketing slogan.

Our crews tape concerts in multi camera HD on the ME Soundstage and in the clubs of Austin, including Antones, Emo's Stubb's, the Continental Club, Hill's Cafe, and La Zona Rosa.

ME Live! brings Austin's great live music scene right into your living room.

Texas Legends

Texas Legends is a one-hour series devoted to the musicians, artists, organizations and venues that have exceeded fame and critical acclaim and have arrived at the status of Legend

The highlight of this series in its first year is ME Television's documentary of the Paramount Theatre, the crown jewel of Austin entertainment venues.

ME Television explored the nearly one hundred year history of the Paramount, from its earliest days as a vaudeville house, where Austinites saw Houdini and the Marx Brothers perform. ME interviewed great contemporary artists who made their mark in the Paramount, including Lyle Lovette, Lilly Tomlin, Leo Kottke, and Joe Sears and Jaston Williams of Greater Tuna.

Tastes of Texas

Tastes of Texas is a program dedicated to good food, good music and good times.

Host Jennifer Peck visits a variety of Texas eateries that make music an important part of the menu. From Mediterranean cuisine on Tango Night at Cippolino to chicken fried steak and two-steppin' at the Broken Spoke, we cover all kinds of Texas tastes.

Restaurants as varied as Threadgills, Fonda San Miguel, Ararat, Cuba Libre, and DK Sushi have all been featured. Experience the recipes and personalities of both proprietors and patrons at some of Texas' tastiest and most tuneful restaurants with Tastes of Texas.

Airwaves

What's hot right now in popular music?

Airwaves will give you the scoop! Host Bobby Bones brings the same pop sensibility to this afternoon TV show that makes him one of Austin's most listened-to morning radio personalities on KISS-FM. Bobby will sit with local artists playing that evening and showcase what their is to do and see in Austin

With a video selection based on national charts and regional airplay, Airwaves will keep you current with the latest from musicians like Gwen Stefani, Kanye West, Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls, Justin Timberlake, and anyone else tearing up the charts! On the weekends, Brittany Neighbors, Dru Fay and JJ Castillo host Airwaves.

Timeline

Three words: Sonic Time Capsule.

ME Television turns back the clock with Timeline, a series dedicated to one day in time and the music, news and trends that defined that day. Wax nostalgic with music aficionado Jacqueline Renee about a wide range of historic events from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the first Lollapolooza.

NMR-the New Media Review - brings you the newest music videos, movie previews and entertainment recommendations from ME Airstaff.

Hosted by Mical Trejo, NMR also features a report on the latest developments in Texas Film with Jacqueline Renee, and personal picks on movies, new CD's, DVD's and books from all the ME VJ's.

Tex-Mix

The sounds of Texas.

Three times a day (at 9am, 6pm, and 9pm) host Josh Shepherd fills you in on what's going on in the Austin Music Scene.

Tex-Mix features a wide variety of Austin artists plus the touring talent on its way to town. In-studio performances, interviews, and music and event recommendations ar what Tex-Mix is all about. Take a look before you plan your evening!

SMASH

The latest in hip-hop and urban music from anywhere worth rhyming about, Smash with host Dru Fay gets you into the best local, regional and national videos of this dynamic genre.

Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, D Madness and other hot acts get time on Dru's watch. For the latest in the urban scene, you cant' get past the access Smash brings you, as Dru invites both local and touring talent into our studios and takes our crew out to the clubs to find out what Texas' hip-hop fans are into.

Sonido Boombox

Sonido Boombox is the only bilingual Latin Music Video show in Texas that airs the entire range of Latino Music. Sonido plays Pop, rock,alternative to Reggaeton, Mexican Regional, Punk and Ska. Sonido is truly unique in style and form. Created and hosted by Latin Music journalist/Host Paul Saucido (LATV-live!, LA Weekly, La Banda Elastica). Sonido has already garnered positive praise from Texas musicians and more importantly the savvy Latino core viewers.

Red River Rocks

From Emo's tot he Erwin Center...Red River Rocks!

Hosted by Emmy Robbin and J.J. Castillo, RRR brings the hippest scene downtown to the TV screen. Through interviews, performances and videos, the full spectrum of rock is represented, with a heavy slant towards what is creating a buzz here in Austin. Bands like Spoon, the Black Angles, the Riverboat Gamblers and Cruiserweight who play great Austin venus like the Red Eyed Fly, Stubb's, and Emo's are featured on a show that rocks hard and laughs hard, too. Emmy and J.J. make a delightfully daffy duo.

Hill Country

Join host Anne Hudson for a Country show with a decidedly Texas twist.

On Hill Country, meet and hear from all the great Texas country talent as well as all the top Nashville artists like Keith Urban, Faith Hill and Rascal Flatts. Find out where the best Country music is happening and when artists are releasing their latest.

Anne is a well-known voice on country radio stations KVET and KASE, so she's friends with all the best country artists and the exciting up-and-coming talent, too. You'll hear about their shows and new CD releases every day from Anne and the artists themselves, and sit in on conversations with the best of Austin's pickers, like Jack Ingram, Bruce Robinson, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Reckless Kelly.

Austinville

Austinville spotlights the places and personalities that make Austin such and interesting place to live.

Cultural headquarters like the new Blanton Art Museum and the future Long Center have been featured.

ME Television has gone backstage with the wacky cast of Esther's Follies, been bedazzled by the jewelry of Anthony Nak, and taken it to the hoop with the Austin Toro's basketball team.

The Almost Late Show

When David Letterman retires someday, Bobby Bones wants his gig.

And he's on his way there with "Almost Late", Austin's very own evening comedy/talk show. Bobby already hosts a hugely popular morning radio show on KISS-FM as well as Airwaves every afternoon on ME Television. But with "Almost Late", Bobby gets to put his own spin on the traditional late night talk show format: opening monologue, wacky co-host (Mical Trejo), comedy skits, audience interaction, interesting guests and music performances. And you know what? It's really funny!

Smooth

"Smooth covers all things soulful, R&B and in the 'John Genre'," says host Bavu Blakes, a respected Austin musician and journalist.

"By that I mean John Legend, John Mayer and John Coltrane." Add some reggae to the rhythmic mix, some gospel, pop and jazz and Mr. Blakes comes full circle with all of his favorite influences. Beyonce, Norah Jones, Mary J. Blige and even legends like Prince, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson find their way into the Smooth blend.
